Visiting Commercial Clients
« on: October 17, 2013, 10:25:22 pm »
So got me thinking.

When you visit Commercial Clients to give a price how do you go dressed and present your business.

I always go in my Uniform and iPad and notepad and iPad get used to give instant prices and they get a email sent to them straight away with the price.     I also take a few wee booklet about my business.

How do you do it?

Sounds about right to me ...but I usually wear a motley and pink trousers too, seems to work.

Suited and booted.
I once got a job purely because I'd 'made the effort'-customer told me so too...

Same as Dazmond most commercial clients accept that you are likely to turn up in your work clothes as you are running a business and will most likely turn up in your work clothes .

If you get the job you are not going to clean windows in a suit,  Pricing a big job at 9 am today and no doubt one of the most important thing to them is my price .

It is the only reason i got the call because they are looking for someone cheaper a 48 apartment care home with conservatory they want as cheap as possible no doubt because most of that size will be less than a decent  day rate . Mike

For jobs under £500 per clean it does not make any difference at all whether you go in your work clothes or a suit.
Probably worth putting on a suit if its a big job (over £500)
