I always rinse just to be safe. I have seen some verey crap jobs done with wfp where no rinsing was done, it takes 2/3 seconds to rinse a paine of glass so not exactly time consuming.

I've started doing one agitation of the glass in the normal fashion.
Then the second one side to side going down the glass.
So rinsing with brush on/cleaning if you like.
It seems to be ok.

TRAD  =  wet up with applicator, then squeegee.

WFP   =  scrub with brush, then rinse.     surely

never rinsing is stupid...but have no problems on maintainence
cleans with nothing visible on glass...a high flow you are virtually
rinsing as you scrub
