i love gardeners goosenecks ... kinking  the hose is something i learnt from other windys on here. i tend to do that more and more ... aquadapter soon went in the bin. not meant to use with light poles imho

I like my aq.d as I just cant  get away with having a long tail I am use to a short tail that's only 2 inc longer then the pole the ex47 is  great very light and very strong just not getting on with the leeking tap and the endless tail ,

you have to keep hold of the lot to turn the tap on and off ! tried cutting the tube and refitting it still leeks all over just want you need out of brand new stuff

These pole valves can easily cope with 100psi without any issue so it will be down to the hose and its connection with it.

Which hose are you using on the pole? Also what temperature water are you using?

If you are using the standard yellow pole hose then you will need John Guest Stem-to-Barb adapters (http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/John-Guest-8mm-stem-to-6mm-Barb-PM250806E.html). If we had fitted this valve to the pole hose from new then these will have been fitted as standard.

If you are using our orange PU hot water hose then these are not needed and any connection issues can be sorted by cutting the end off the hose to get a fresh end and then firmly inserting into the valve couplings.

Fitting the John Guest stem to barb adapters will usually fix this issue.

when the pole vale is shut and running on hot the hose keeps shooting off/ out of the valve
Easily solved i used a barb

Most users will not suffer this issue with the PU hose, but, as you say, if you do the Stem-to-Barb adapters seem to cure most of mankind's ills!

i love the goosenecks.i prefer the 45 degree as i can clean sills much better than the 55 degree.great for deep ledge windows,velux windows and higher work.very very light!perfect with an extreme brush and (sorry alex!)aqua daptor!

i do use the resi necks as well on run of the mill standard houses with tight space conservatories sometimes.

I have the aqua adaptor on all my poles , saves water and speed etc .
I've only had one break, spring fault in ,10 months and aqua adaptor soon replaced and fixed it for me as I couldn't due to my broken hand at the time . Great customer service .
A new V-LITE aqua adaptor is coming out , 120 grams lighter and stronger .
I gave them ATM on my 25/30slx's and will get a VLITE AD for my 18ft pole when it comes out as the weight is not a issue .
