greasy windows?

Hi All. I have two, long standing customers who live next door to each other. Both have had some new windows fitted and both have remarked that some, not all of the new Windows have not cleaned as well as normal, or the other Windows.
Big bays in both houses and only the odd pane is affected. I plan to clean them again with hot, soapy water and a squeegee but wondered what caused the problem. Anyone know?

When a customer has brand new windows fitted I treat it as a first clean as there is chemicals on the frames and glass that need thoroughly cleaning off to avoid runs and spotting.

As above
We use g101 to cut through the residue the fitters left behind, WFP is not the most effective way of removing hand prints unless you use a chem to help it along a bit.
You may find the fitters were messy and although they have wiped off the excess silicone residue may be still on the glass

Hi Tom, A bucket of water and a few magic eraser pads will remove any greasy residues safely and seriously effective in solving these problems after the deep clean just finish off with your normal cleaning.
