Good idea. I'm thinking of buying the Corwoods hot wash set up. I already have the ability to warm up my water as I've got an immersion heater fitted. Usually put it on to keep the hoses supple in the winter months, but I've found that I quite like warm most days as it does seem to get the crap off quicker. Maybe it's just my imagination??
Is it really worth my while buying the hot? Does it really make that much difference?

Well from what i have heard most people like the hotwash, imagine how much easier conservatorys and facias would be with a little bit of hot water and virosol!!
Also the hoses will stay soft all through the winter so no kinks. I personally think it sounds better telling people that you have the latest hot wash technolagy ;)
I will be investing as soon as i know more about it

This is the video mostly about the other things required when using hot water.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=VkQn_I0zI9g

Literally everything from the point the hot water leaves the boiler to and including the brush head needs to be changed to cope with hot water.

I will also say there is a bit difference between cleaning with warm water and hot water when it comes to con roofs, fascias and first cleans. This is all we use hot for and not on regular cleans.

We find it works best at about 65oC

OK Lee, thanks for the link. My main interest for the hot would be for regular domestic cleans, but you don't think there is any point or gain? I just wondered, as some on here think it's far better over cold or warm, unless I've got the wrong end of the stick.

it makes no difference to us on regular cleans.

We only use it on first cleans and the add on services. By doing that the cost is almost nothing after you have set it up. Of course we use it on freezing days also to keep going.

we use hot everyday and there is a big difference.

I used cold one one day of the round and then next month used hot on the same houses.

I finished doing that day 1-2hours sooner with hot then cold plus I used a lot less water with hot!

so for me hot on everyday cleans is a winner and for the cost of just over £1 a day running the gas heater, its well worth it!
