Any help regarding best/economical mobile heaters for overnight use when electric unavailable.

Been doing it this way now 7 years without hot water or overnight heaters.Simon[yes I do have an RO system and use 1000 watt electric heater with a thermostat when I am close to electric point overnight.it's ideal!!Was just looking for an alternative when electric unavailable.think I might get a little gas heater just for any emergencies??What do you think?
