Why the crazy questions
« on: September 22, 2013, 10:59:38 am »
I want to make a statement about me to explain were I am coming from with the many crazy questions.
Please read below.

As many on this forum know I am a British born man  that grew up in a ex colony of the U K. And therefore do not always understand the correct way to run my window cleaning business in our U K as my values do not naturally match the U K cultural .So many of my crazy questions are only an attempt to understand things in my day to day workings
I would be happy if it could be understood were I am coming from at times when asking a question.
The banter that often I get in response is just frustrating and even insulting at times I am not a kid but a mature man and have at times wanted to leave this forum but I choose to stay as I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share.

How long have you been here?
I've lived abroad and didnt have any issues I find people fairly similar wherever you are.
Although I did have to deal with some Jewish immigrants from South Africa in one of my jobs in Sydney who were a pain.
I was warned beforehand and I don't like to generalise but yes painful was the only word to describe all of them.

Blinkers were made for horses.

DeGee -S A Jewish folk are very demanding customers, Remeber the chosen race they earned that title. But if you  try to understand them and you get in with them they are very loyal custies and very generous at Christmas giving a wrist watches not beyond them or 12 years whisky  is well worth the pain. I have a few businesses in S A and also had a lot of Jewish customers . Good to see you have stuck your head up above our small island. Been a stranger in Aus can  be quite a challenging. The easy part is the do not have a class system which  can make things difficultly different..I was thinking of going there 10 years ago but had 2 kids I had to leave behind .....so..... fled here instead.Got sick of the crime is S A. If you have money  in S A you will be a target and it will be taken off you. By robbers or legally by the state by constructive shopping.( that s the name for legal theft in South Africa)ask Spruce. He will know, mind you he left lot earlier than me.

Tbh I never had any trouble in A us fitting in.
The main thing I noticed on the whole they are more sensible than us.
This reflects in the place being a lot better looked after, public places were much nicer and they were able to have communal bbq's in the parks where as here we'd see them vandalised.

I have also noticed it here. Its a real sham,I do share your sentiment in the parks in S A its was the same now you will be having a Berbi in a public place and the new S A s will whip out his rod and have a pee  with out shame, next to were you and family  are eating , If anything is said your are racist. Maybe the powers are to lenient here I do thing our imigration chaps could learn a  trix or to from the Ausies. There imagination is very strict as you will know.
