Is this type of hose available from anywhere else? Is there a barb that you fit to connect it to the john guest 8mm straight connector and finally, is it ok with warm/hot?

From what i recall , when i used it with hot it was a pain in the backside , i ended up using the double ear crimp things to keep it from popping off all the time , it gets real soft when used with hot , i also found that the weave on it pcked and held a lot of grit when wet .

The only hose that wIll stand up to hot water is made of  polyurethane so its Gardeners orange pole hose or Aquadaptor pole hose. This type you can get on e bay its the PU 8mm OD by 6mm Id . And you will also need a 8mm JOHN GUEST STEM FITTING.

Dont waste time and money on this or aquadapter

Its same Windywasher, you have just robbed Tony of using the best and only hose that will work with hot water.Every other will burst.What pole hose do you recommend and use.

I dont use hot water but still not found a great hose i would recommend but the lite 5 is the worst i have used.

What kind of heat are you guys using?

I use lite 5 wrapped around SL2, last for years, does hold dirt when wet though but good with hot water
