On getting home from work I asked my 17 year old son who works with me  to put one of the batteries on charge. Not sure what he was doing but he ended up putting the positive terminal from the flow controller on the negative battery terminal & vise versa. Now the flow controller doesn't work. I'm assuming he's managed to fry the electronics but wondered if anyone else had a similar thing happen to them & managed to fix the controller cheaply? OR is it a new controller

my advice, dump the controller, they are more trouble than they are worth, just wire straight to the battery tommorow and see how lush the flow is mate, work quick and you will infact use less water

my advice, dump the controller, they are more trouble than they are worth, just wire straight to the battery tommorow and see how lush the flow is mate, work quick and you will infact use less water

I have been using my pump controller for 3.5 years, never had any problems with it whatsoever. I know 2 other window cleaners, one has been using a pump controller for 5 years, the other for 3. Neither of them have had any problems with them either.

Did not put a fuse on my first one,fried that.
Made sure when i got the new one it had a fuse inline

Maybe that's what your Dad thinks about you?
Mine certainly did (you're throwing your career away etc) until he saw the money it brings in.
Work is about money. Nothing more IMO.
If I could double my money picking up dog turds I'd go for it.

If you need to reduce the flow, put a bypass between the outlet and inlet of the pump with a quarter turn ball valve - you can set the flow to the brush by adjusting the valve.
