Can you use these to clean stairs for LM cleaning?

I would recommend using waffle microfiber floor cloths for Lm cleaning on stairs as when you use one part of the cloth and it gets saturated with soils you then move your hand back to the next clean part of the cloth you can do this four times on one side of the large waffle cloth then turn the cloth over and repeat four cleaning sections on the other side, so one waffle floor cloth is like having eight microfiber mitts.
Waffle microfiber floor cloths are also far more effective than using microfiber mitts for LM cleaning of textiles.

I'd suggest  a bonnet mitt would be a far better option  on  stairs than microfiber

Are they any better than a rolled up towel that you can just keep turning over as you move down the stairs?

I would guess a towel would be more absorbent and pick up more dirt

Why would you roll up a towel (like a sausage) less sq centimetre cleaning area but understand the 8 sided tricks even with a nappy’s  ;D

Got a tendency of talking waffle as long as it’s white ;)

Anyone know how many hand mitts it would take to clean a normal size staircase?  ;D

Possibly two on the 1st and 2nd run then it get lighter as you go up but I always start at the top and work backwards, nosing will always be an issue never the risers so I would go for two ;)

a mitt sounds like a lot of work. Why not invest in a Oreck Orbitor. You can use it to agitate your pre-spray when hwe'ing

I thought about the oreck orbitor but wondered if it might be a bit dangerous trying to use it on stairs?

Use a micelles based pre spray dwell time depends on how soiled the stairs carpet is, rub vigorously using required amount of damp waffle microfiber cloths, this method covers every square cm as you are able to clean right into corners and edges plus achieving very quick drying times.

I use the Cleanfix Floormac on stairs which is the same as the Oreck.
