« on: August 26, 2013, 05:59:29 pm »
we do a lot of builders cleans and to speed the process up hopefully i want to introduce steam cleaners into my work place - shower screens/sanitary ware etc & was wandering if one of these would remove the dust from grout left behind by tilers would be removed by one of these?

any help would be appreciated thanks

Good tilers don't leave dust. If it were dust anything would remove it. You are probably referring to Grout Haze!  If this is what you mean then a steam cleaner will not remove cured Grout Haze.  You will need Aqua Mix Phosphoric Acid Substitute diluted if the surface is not Acid sensitive if it is you will need Aqua Mix NanoScrub and if the grout is modified (flexible) you will need Aqua Mix Sealing & Coating Remover.

Thanks kev.

It will be grout haze - unfortunately it depends on which site I'm on - some tilers are really clean, others not so.

Will look into those chemicals
