Got a quick question i have asked cardsave but they can't answer due to it being set at the most secure.

In your account settings what do you have you Default CV2 Behaviour & Default AVS Behaviour set at ?

At the moment mine are

Default CV2 behaviour:
CV2 policy: Fail Transaction on CV2 failure
When results unknown: pass Transaction

Default AVS behaviour:
AVS policy: Fail If Either Fail
Treat partial address: As Fail
Treat partial post code: As Fail
When results unknown: pass Transaction

Exactly the same.

Generally if a transaction fails on AVS just remove the address. This only matters if the customer disputes the transaction. If you have the AVS you are more likely to win any dispute. I have done 3000+ card transactions and never had 1 single dispute.

How are you getting on with it? Do you have a mobile wotsit for collecting at the door or is it just over the phone?

Early days at the moment i'm still getting things setup email templates ect


At the moment i can take payments using the following:

at the door by ipad or smart phone ( using the Virtual terminal )

payments by phone ( using the Virtual terminal )

Website payments ( using Paybylink )


I need to sort out a script for when i phone up customers for a payment so i remember what to say without sounding unprofessional their must be one on the web some where
