Aworka job planning ?
« on: July 30, 2013, 09:58:06 am »
Is there a way to set a job up on aworka so when its due on a wednesday the 1st and is done 8 days late it will be auto scheduled for five weeks from the 1st and not from the 8th.

Thanks Paul

Hi Paul

Not at the moment. The workaround would be to leave the job as done on the day it was due rather than the day it was actually done: not ideal.

I'm just adding a new field to the job editor popup on the planner so that you can adjust   when a job is next planned, either by a date, or an interval, e.g. 5 weeks. Maybe I could add another option to this so that you can choose the interval from when the job was due rather than done...?

In the longer term, I'm going to add a few more options for rounds so that you have more control how the auto planning works, e.g. specify how many days late a job can be but still be kept to its original schedule.

Chris.

Chris any progress with the 'notes' facility. It was said that you might manage to get his sorted a couple of weeks ago but its hasnt materialised just yet.

Matt: Do you mean the Events tab? Yes, it's work in progress... I just need to add incorporate something into the mobile app. It's going to be basic to start with (no drag and drop calendar view yet!), but will include 'To Do' items that you can tick off, as well as timed events/appointments.

I will post on here and on the @aworka twitter when its released...
