New whirlaway on its way from USA. Only clean, some sealing and some repointing dont do coating removal. Dont advertise, average web dont spend on that. I have got an excellent reputation and about 40 top class yearly contracts.
And to answer the question is it possible to earn a grand a week....I can easily. Can you? Who knows.

Lanzarote tomorrow for 2 weeks so takings will be down a bit!

No reason why you shouldn't be earning £1K a week, in peak season you should be able to double this. First thing I would do is get rid of the smart seal site and have your our for domestics, they all look the same Smartseal sites not original.
You talk/sound like you have the experience so just put it to use.

Too many people undersell what we do, which is a pity really.

Maybe start with a minimum price structure and stick to it, and not just that's £50.00 as I do this as an add-on attitude.

Positive thinking will start to get you going in the right direction

Roger i can do the work.... to a very high standard it,s obtaining it thats the problem!
I won't get out of bed for £50 ...it cost me £30 to start the van by the time i put a gallon of fuel in it ,petrol for the machine, coffee and a cake for breakfast.
You reckon £2000 a week at this time of year  :o . I am definitely doing something wrong . Do you think the smartseal website really puts people off....they only briefly glance at it.

Yes and that could be the problem, "they only briefly glance at it" because it look's like all the  smartseal sites the same nothing original, I have enough of them in my areas of work and they are no threat, people I quote for have said, that have found us via google, that they called/went with us because our site is original, not same ol same ol photos that smartseal sites troll out. Stand alone, be original and you'll move forward Chris.

Hey Chris, j just checked out your domestic site and the block paving section has a step missing. It goes from spraying straight to brushing sand in. Missed out the pressure washing :-)

Hi there,
My wheelie bin cleaning business has about 6 days a week spare. Is it easy enough to use my Karcher pressure washer to do some pressure washing jobs or does it require a bit more experience/ equipment to do a proper job.
I don't have a website but have a door canvasser out every day.
Is it a simple case of asking the people with dirty/mossy driveways if they want them cleaned to get me business?

i agree, Roger you target affluent areas inc London customers are prepared to pay over the top compared to other areas of the country, plus you have established check a trader which helps massively, users in our area are a hundred times lower than your area! Can't see a single op earning £400 per day in the majority of the country. But don't think this is the place to discuss earnings if it was a closed forum no prob, but on one hand guys are expressing high rates, holidays etc then we moan about wcs incorporating pressure washing as an add on. Can't have it both ways.

Mike,
I wouldn't say my customers are paying over the top prices compared to other parts of the country. As far as CAT goes that thing is going down hill IMO could count on one hand the amount of calls we get in a month these days. What I did say was £1K a week is do-able that's £200 per day, which Chris want's to earn, which if you price by the square metre then what around 70-80 square metres, so to say you can double that isn't far from the truth if you then double the square meterage, so 140-160 square metres a day should be easy enough to do with the right kit.
Might have to spread that across 2 jobs, who knows. The add-on merchants will always be around as they think it is easy money, but anyone doing this job properly will say different.
