I started up as a car valeter in april this year, i charge in line with other valeters in my area. i found the same with facebook that getting a job was like 1 in 10 of enquiries. Everyone wants a great job done really cheap. I just refuse to budge on prices, id rather not earn the money than do it cheap.

my prices are now fixed prices. so if they don't want to pay that price then onto the next one.
people on facebook swap and sale pages are on there for a reason. they have not got any money.
so they will always go price over quality.
we do get so much work through facebook but as somebody said above margins are tight.
working through facebook your guaranteed every customers carpet clean you do, you will get 3-4 recommendations from each one.

we only use this facebook prices now for as we call it dashboard cash lol
