If a dog bit me I'd be wanting it put down. Mate or no mate.

the injection lasts 7 years for tetanus.....

i came down the ladders last month to a mad barking dog (springer spaniel) >:(
he/she looked frightened........so having seen "the horse whisperer" a few days before
i turned slowly ,so i was looking away from the mutley at which point he rushed me and bit me on the leg  :o

we live and learn ;D

Tetanus jab  is more painful than the dog bite, I couldn't sit down for a week when I had one !

You will only need to see a doctor if you find that you need
to lift your leg when peeing. ;D

I picked up a new posh farm house years ago, i opened up the side gates to get round...start working, next minute owner comes out "youve let the dogs out" ermmm oops. I see a rottweiler and alsatian up the garden and shes calling them ill never forget the rottweilers name "Diesel" never seen one like him he was huge.

They eventually came to her and owner went walking off, both dogs came up to me growling, i also thought turning your back on them was the answer, the rottweiler bit the back of my leg, i pushed him off and he bit my other leg, pushed him AGAIN and he had my forearm! Ive never felt strength like it and im pretty strong, i could not push him away, he really shock my arm and ripped all my jumper. Didnt break skin fortunately but wow i didnt enjoy it, the owners called them again not seeing what happened. The dogs cleared off, i finished up and knocked door and said "your dogs just bit me" to which she repoied "oh yes you have to be careful round him" no apology

...i dont clean there any more

You can only have up to three tetanus jabs and then your covered for life . Found that out last time I cut my hand . I spray the dogs with water that get them running the other way

I had a customers dog bite me last year. It ran down the drive as I was waiting for the electric gate to open. Clamped onto my knee and didn't let go! It was a big dog too. Couldn't get it off, customer rushed down dragging it away. Got scars to remember it by. Customer had it put down she felt so bad.

A long long time ago back when I was trad I got bitten by a German shepherd , walking across this big lawn I heard this low growling sound looked round and before I could do anything it had it's gnashers in my ankle. In a blind panic I just dropped my trusty old ladder right on top of the dog that done the trick like something out of a cartoon it bolted tail beneath it's legs screeching in terror. 1-0 to the window cleaner none of that dog whisperer sh I ite ;)

Get the owner put down - they are generally the irresponsible one.
