Im after the CLX27 which works out at roughly £180The SLX30 is roughly £325.CLX weighs 1800gSLX weighs 1720gYes the SLX is longer but the weight difference is hardly noticeable. My main everyday pole is the CLX18 which weighs 1070g.The two poles together cost less than the SLX30.To sum it up for 90% of the time I am lifting 1070g and 10% of the time Im lifting 1800gIf I was to get the SLX I would be lifting 1720g 100% of the time.Doesn't matter what pole you get but don't get a pole longer than you need becausethen you are carrying around extra weight for the sake of extra length which youmight only use now and again.

I have both and there is a huge difference. slx is only about 18 inches shorter but find it will reach the same windows as the clx because it is more rigid and easier to maneuver.I would use the slx 25 in place of clx 18 and 27. clx 22 is quite a nice pole but the clx 27 IMO is too heavy and has too much flex.
