The stiffness of an slx over the clx is amaizingly different. Slx is a different league, next on the shopping list is the extreme25 where i can then cuss down the slx if thats possibe!!.

Im after the CLX27 which works out at roughly £180
The SLX30 is roughly £325.
CLX weighs 1800g
SLX weighs 1720g
Yes the SLX is longer but the weight difference is hardly noticeable.
My main everyday pole is the CLX18 which weighs 1070g.
The two poles together cost less than the SLX30.
To sum it up for 90% of the time I am lifting 1070g and 10% of the time Im lifting 1800g
If I was to get the SLX I would be lifting 1720g 100% of the time.
Doesn't matter what pole you get but don't get a pole longer than you need because
then you are carrying around extra weight for the sake of extra length which you
might only use now and again.

slx 25 is a much better pole than clx 27. I have both and there is a huge difference. slx is only about 18 inches shorter but find it will reach the same windows as the clx because it is more rigid and easier to maneuver.

I would use the slx 25 in place of clx 18 and 27.

clx 22 is quite a nice pole but the clx 27 IMO is too heavy and has too much flex.

To be honest I don't have too many hard to reach windows on my normal run so the clx18 works for me
and at that length its rigid enough.
But I see your point about the SLX25 I think you might have converted me Thanks for the advice.

clx22 looked a nice pole when i ordered one for a mate
nice and light and no noticeable flex.far too fragile in my hands
though ill stick with my old fashioned unger optiloc and tele poles
which i use with ease

How's the achilles Gary?  :D

getting better...be buggered if i was a ladder jockey ;D
