Hi,3 months ago i cleaned a Spanish tile for a customer,kitchen  and dining room floor.I was there to clean there carpets and told them i would clean them but as i have no training in hard floor as yet is was up to them.They cleaned up fine,now they wanted them sealed but did not want to pay me to do it and asked could i get them some sealer as they could do it them selfsSo i got them prochem sealer and left them to it.Lady calls today and says the floors water marking when anything drops on it.Now.she not saying anything to say its my fault but i would like to rectify the problem,any advice,thanks..

One of two things has happened here:

1.  You did not clean all the old sealer off the first time and therefore the new sealer cannot get into that area
2.  When they applied the new sealer they have not sealed it properly.

Which Prochem product was it? Proseal?

think it was stone seal

It was my fault on giving them this product when I did not know what could go wrong so I want to sort it. Looks like they use to use a polish of some kind on it, would this be the problem. How would I go about fixing this, thanks

What they used to apply really has no bearing on the finish!  The spotting is being caused by either the cleaning not being done correctly or their wrong application of the sealer.  You need to decide what has gone wrong and then sort it!  Either clean it again or seal it properly!

Stone seal is an impregnator and Proseal is a topical acrylic.

can you please explain the difference

Proseal forms a film on the surface where Stone seal uses a breathable fluorochemical resin to "plug" the capillaries.
