hi we purchased our diy clamp set for our clx poles and followed the instructions to the letter the one pole went really well and the glue set and it seems fine but the second pole only the last clamp out of the four has set the first three after 24hrs are still not set any ideas od what went wrong, totally confused

glue it again. You can buy it at your local diy / motor spare store. make sure you mix it up real good

Yes, I would say you haven't mixed the hardener in properly.

if this is the glue which comes in the clear packet and you roll the red bar over it etc and squeeze the glue from one pocket to the other then it should mix
so for one to set and the others not too sounds to me more of a pole issue.
i would take them off,clean up the sections again,sand paper them and then apply araldite,make sure you get araldite brand/ make not a bq substitute
and try again

I dont think so.
Just reglue and make sure you mix it all together properly. Hes obviously used a bit on that particular clamp that he hadnt mixed the hardener in properly.

Ive used cheaper versions of araldite and never had a problem.

Thanks to you all for your help got some more glue re cleaned and sanded poles and they have set already, it was probably my fault thought I had mixed the glue but obviously not, but fixed for now
