from the new single "20" prefilter that does away with the need for a sediment and carbon filter to the new clamps and new quick lok brush swapping thingy.

Yeah, I've just fitted one to my filter kit. I'm sure Alex made a point in another thread that it would be best to fit it just before the RO (ie, the last filter cartridge of the three before RO), but I suppose it's not a problem if you don't as it will still work. My water production is certainly quicker.
