I'm currently in the process of moving all slow payers over to direct debit >> www.iconicwindowcleaning.co.uk/directdebit I'm also explaining to all new customers that I only commence cleaning once a direct debit has been setup... Seems to be working so far.Andy :-)
Hi AndyThat looks pretty good, have you been doing it long and what are the charges?thankspaul
whats the setup on the direct debit system like?where and how please ?
it says on your website paymetns will only be taken once your windows have been cleaned. how does that work? i thought it direct debits were just a set date each month?
I just looked at the website. It says 7 days there to receive the funds. I reckon on average therefore it would take longer for my customers to pay than it does now. Therefore, I would be paying 1% for the privilege of taking longer to get paid.
does that mean they have to ok the payment each time u do the widnows before allowing the money to go out there account? or does it just come out without any further requirement from the custy?
No they don't have to OK any payments. Their only input is filling out the initial form. Andy :-)

Once everyone is setup it means that every working day you have money clearing in your account from 7 days previous = improved cash flow. Andy
sloww payers are like weeds in a crop field. you gotta get rid . you have to be constantly lookin out for them at the same time as sowing fresh seeds in the space they once took.
That doesn't make sense. If it now takes on average 7 days to get paid when I reckon the average now is about 3, that means worsened cash flow.
