« on: June 14, 2013, 02:17:06 pm »
Just got my quote declined for this job and wondered if my price was way out  ???

Their was also about ten windows not in the picture that i didn't take pics of all balcony frosted glass needed cleaning and the doors on the balconies needed doing from the inside as well due to access.

Thanks Paul

Well i was going to quote £150 but wasn't sure if it was to cheap so i quoted £200.

Which i have now found out wasn't that far off i think a need to get a cis card and drop the price to what i was going to quote in the first place.

Depends how much I'd have wanted it but if its a builders clean, albeit they don't look too bad, they're going to require more than a splash and scrub, I would've gone in starting at £240 after initial inspection and moved from there depending on how the next five minutes developed after walking round the site.

On the surface, it looks a nightmare.

Lets face it you wouldn't want to be doing anything else after that in the day.

Agree with matt - it's hard to tell how bad they are but would have been a full day rate particularly as its a 1 off.

I wouldn't sweat it by not getting it as your better without it if they don't like your price why would you work for less and be unhappy.

Let some other mug work all day for peanuts while they're tied up doing that go and get yourself some nice high priced residential repeating work

£180 as a monthly. We did one similar this morning but didn't have to clean the balconys, took us 2 hours and that was taking our time.

If its a builders clean then I wouldn't even consider giving a price without having a good look first.

I  wouldn't do a builders clean with out a scratch wavier why should i have to claim off my insurance for scratches made by other contractors.
