Using a backpack saving water.
« on: June 13, 2013, 10:55:53 am »
1 of my pumps has stopped working today so am using the backpack instead.. Its amaizing how many houses you can do with such little water!.
I never thought of it before as only use the backpack for awkward backs etc.
I did 5 fronts and a back all from 20 litres. With vanmount id easily use 50 litres plus.
Hopefully results will be as good with scrimping on water today.. Just anoying lugging it about all day on my back.. Im gonna be sore later i think!!.

Mick get small foldable sack truck and bungee cord.

Combine with 1mm pencil jets and aquadapter.

I'm vanmount but use barrels.

Reeling in out hose does my head in some days ;D

I have to agree with all that except for the aquadapter. I kink the hose instead.

I'm also sometimes amazed at how much water some use in a day.

I rarely use more than 125ltrs.

back packs are a great tool... a few months back , my van didn't fill, as the hose hadnt connected to ro...

so I put 8 barrels , back pack and pole in my picasso, and went off for a few hours whilst my van was filling ... I did about  10 houses £120..... then went back at mid day by which time my van had a bit more water...

its not ideal, and I prefer vanmount ... but it's viable to work out of a car with barrels.
