I have just taken delivery of 5 new CLX22's and done something I don't normally do.
I read the instructions

And now I am confused,
I attended the the cleaning show and got talking to the guy who manufactures GT85, he told me its perfect for cleaning poles, the tin says its a PTFE spray so I assumed its good for carbon.
However on the user guide which Gardiners put out with the poles it says DO NOT USE OIL-BASED LUBRICANTS SUCH AS WD-40 AND GT-85.
I does not say anything about being oil based on the tin but having searched the website the safety data sheet says it has butane and propane, are these oil based? I always thought they were a gas.
So any chemists out there know what this stuff will do to my shiny new poles? and which spray/cleaner is best if I cant use this one.
