Is virosol good for cleaning solar panels? Was thinking of pressure spraying on and then rinsing off with brush & tap water?

I got a hand pump sprayer from tool station £18.50 popped in a bit of virosol and away I went.

I have done two this week with polycarb roofs and results were really good. 

One customer had his roof cleaned by an old trad guy every six months but stopped coming so I had a go and he said its never looked as good..

Sounds great, are you just using a brush or something to rinse off? I do this with conny roofs but wasnt sure if virosol damaged the solar panels or something

Sorry mate I did not read your post properly. Conservatory roofs I do Solar panel's I don't.

On reading other posts usually pure is enough but I am no expert.

DO NOT USE CHEMICALS ON SOLAR PANELS

if you dont get if off 100% then you can do more damage than good!!!!! then you would end up having to replace them for the customer!

If you want to play it safe for cleaning conny roofs or solar panels, just check the ph value which you will find on the msds for all cleaning products. its safest to use a cleaner thats non-caustic,non-corrosive, most high alkaline based cleaners like TFRs for example are caustic and corrosive and will cause detrimental damage to surfaces from continuous use, if the ph value is over 10.5 its these products are more likely to cause the damage as they are highly alkaline, there are many janitorial suppliers in the UK stocking safer products which are non-caustic,non-corrosive, and will not cause detrimental damage to surfaces.just do a google search as there are many in the UK.

There is absolutely no way you should use virusol on solar panels. Have you cleaned any solar panels before? If so, what did you use and how did you find the end results?

For now, pure is perfect. Won't be long before lots of products come to market. I should be testing one of them soon. Just waiting on delivery...
It will be interesting to see if they speed up the cleaning time. I can't see how they can yet, but I'm more than willing to be proved wrong and would buy in great quantities if it was good.

I just want to clarify your claims if that's ok.
It will clean panels and improve the amount of time needed to clean panels. But will the application of the product not slow me down?
How will it help productivity?
How will it improve the life of a panel? They are only designed to last 25 years at the absolute most.

I'm asking out of genuine interest mate. Would you be willing as other companies have, to send me samples for testing please?
