I've scratched a patio window with my squeegee ... does anyone know of anything that will remove them? Car windscreen scratches can be removed, i'm hoping scratches on windows are the same process?

Does anyone have any experience of this?

be worth trying rubbing Colgate toothpaste into it , this worked for me

rub it in with brown paper

iv only done it once and my experience was a bit weird ,as i could still see the scratches when i finished ,but when i returned to do the next clean a month later the scratches were gone .  2 yrs down the road theyre still gone

If it is a patio door, you probably won't be able to remove it. Doors have toughened glass which can't be polished. If it is a window I've heard toothpaste t-cut and cirium oxide all work with some elbow grease.

I don't know ... I saw it this time around and the customer pointed out when i collected the cash, reckons it appeared after I cleaned them previously, i've no reason to doubt them, they are a reasonable couple and quite accepting of it without complaining, it's me that said i'll try to remove it. It looks like there may have been something on the rubber, maybe a bit of dirt or sand, it's about 6 or 7 inches long.

Was my suggestion for colgate toothpaste with brown paper.it does work.
Works on all scratches.
Makes the glass very smooth.

The success will depend on the depth of the scratch in the glass.I find it quite difficult to believe you could scratch glass with a squeegee.   Tooth paste will only work if the scratch is very light. IF YOU PULL YOUR FINGER NAIL OVER THE GLASS AND IT STICKS IN THE SCRATCH IT WILL NEED A MACHINE.
If the scratch is deeper you will need a random orbital sand/ polisher and it requires skill. Look on You tube for removing scratches from glass.Good luck.
