"Hello I live in So and So Very Rough and Fairly Dangerous Road and need someone to clean my windows today please, here is my number"
People make you smile don't they, I think they thought I was waiting for their call and would launch off Wallace and Grommit style.

you should start an "emergency call out" service.dont all window cleaners do this?just drop everything at the drop of a hat(or a phone call!)

Bloke calls up says I need my windows cleaning today !!! As its my sons birthday and the windows are filthy !

My reply was erm sorry mate no can do im spending a day off with the wife ha ha .

i had to finish some work off today, and the number of people asking for one offs was ridiculous, picked up 3 or 4 regulars though and must have given out around 10 quotes

Was only on a few roads on a council estate doing about 20 small houses , its good for business but slowed me down massively
im late for a bbq now, wish the missus would dry her hair faster
