Aquatec CDP8800 Booster Pump Adjustment?
«

I've just got the above pump, plumbed it in after pre filters and before membranes.
I'm only getting about 65 psi on the pressure gauge
Has anyone adjusted one with the allen key on top? I really wanted about 80-100 psi into membranes...
Cheers in advance

I've got a flow restrictor, but was wondering if I put a tap on the waste, this will improve pressure thro' the membranes, but will it "muller" them?

65psi is a good pressure IMO.

Cheers dd, I just assumed a 125 psi pump would bang out 125 psi!
I've had a tweak with the waste pipe, by putting a valve on it and restricting it. Psi on the gauge has gone up to 80, so that's some improvement.
Just worried I will be reducing the life of the membranes tho!

Yes you probably will reduce the life of the membrane by reducing the waste. I suppose it depends how quickly you need tp produce your water. I use a static system so speed of production is not a priority for me. 65 psi should give a good performance from your RO.

Cheers.
Tds is still the same after ro (014 ppm), but output has improved from 70 to 50 seconds per litre
