I have the slx 35 but I bought a base section for a 25 and use it as the 25slx 95% of the time. Therefore the bottom x3 sections of the 35slx (inc base) are redundant most of the time.
Would a 22 fit onto the lower sections of the 35slx as my 25 does? That would require the section before the base to be the same diameter both on the 22 &  25. I would also imagine, that if the 22 does fit, it would be a few inches shorter at full reach than with the 25,unless you are 6' 10''

The 22 and 25 have same diameter base section, but the 25 is longer collapsed, so they will fit.
