Pre filters & membranes

I don't run my RO system all day every day

I've just flushed it through and changed resin and set it off ... To find the water coming in the 20s Tds ...

So I take it I nee new pre filters and membranes ????

How old is your RO and what is your normal tap water tds . I ran my RO for over 4 yrs without any probs and only changed pre- filters 3 times and never changed membranes .

Tds was max 75 ppm yours should be the same as mine anyway Paul as it all comes from Kielder . Mike

you might need to let it flush longer, i normally let mine run for about 30 minutes before i put through resin.

my water starts at 450ppm, then before resin 012-014ppm.
