Keep Those Diamonds Sharp or Lose Money
« on: May 15, 2013, 02:50:12 pm »
I am not sure if everyone is aware and I am sorry if I am teaching anyone to suck eggs.

To be truthful I suppose I just took it for granted in the past that everyone knew that Diamonds needed to be sharpened!!!

Well if you didn't is is something you need to be aware of:

There are two types of Diamonds:

Those set in Resin Bond and those set in Metal Bond.  Diamonds can be become blunt for a variety of reasons but usually it is due to the fact that the wrong materiel is being or attemted to be cut and either the resin or the metal is not exposed quickly enough to make the diamonds work efficiently.  In this instance (Provided the Diamonds are Good Quality) they need to be sharpened by adding an Activator appropriate to the type of diamonds in order to expose the base materiel and make the diamonds cut efficiently.

This process has manyadvantages in that|:

1.  The Diamonds work and cut better
2....The scratch Pattern is reduced
3.   The finish is improved
4.   The diamond wear is prolonged to the maximum!

I hope you find this post useful ;D
