I use it - but its not a place to find customers really, especially for a cleaning business.

I use it to boost the SEO on my website - same as Google+ and Twitter,.. it is almost as boring as Tosh's army stories though,...

Inbound links from social media sites are noted by google & usually carry more weight than links from random low PR sites - - Because social media sites have ways to protect themselves against spam and bots posting links, Google tends to believe these links are more genuine, and genuine & unique links to your website make Google think your website is more important than all those other sites that no one bothers to link to,...

I prefer FB myself,.. but I guess with any of these once you get a large enough audience, some of your marketing will have to produce results eventually,...
