100% on houses here it does.
One pane cleaned wfp one trad a few years ago.
Checked every couple of days-trad was dirtier first.

Perhaps it's different at a dock

That's a big statement to make going off one job.
There are many other considerations that can affect a job.

It does. It's to do with less detergent on the glass.

And cleaner frames, too, I reckon.
If you do the frames, that is.

Without a doubt they stay cleaner longer on standard glass. Really yo should mix a little car wax into you water and produce an unbelievable shine to the glass which quickly goes cloudy allowing the window cleaner to perform his magic a month later!!

Agree totally on the whole glass stays cleaner wlth wfp. But on a docks near salt water which in bad weather gets blown on to glass no it makes no noticeable difference. Just check sea water with your tds mtr to find out why, I did it went off the scale.

Seriously, have you actually tried this? It sound's like a good idea to me to be perfectly honest. WFP really can be it's own worst enemy at times with the glass staying so clean for so bloody long.

Some windows will get dirtier and dirty quicker than others whichever way you clean them.
It's not so black and white.

Ronnie, yes tried this and it works. Windows look like they are going to break they shine so much. BUT soon cloud up to a mist on the glass begging for a window cleaner to sort them out!

It would not be anything to do with the water. The reason windows stay cleaner longer with wfp (and they do) is that you scrub the frames clean. Even the most thorough of trad cleans is not going to scrub the frames clean.

yes they do stay cleaner for longer with wfp if the weather is pretty good throughout the month/2 months.however with all the wet and windy weather we ve been having lately its making them dirty pretty quickly.

it also depends on lots of other factors.whether the windows are near a main road, trees, etc, etc.also at this time of year there is lots of bird muck on windows and big fat wood pigeons who just fly into the glass!! ;D ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!

Wind and rain again cleaned my windows this morning and they are now filthy.
Looking into putting the whole town under a glass dome.
And yes wfp is quicker than trad at cleaning domes. ;D ;D
