Is it an L5 LPG heater? or a PF hot water system with a webasto S90T? Is it the boiler that goes Off or the controller?

its a L5 gas heater i have a Renault traffic the tanks are at the head board and the taps are pointing towards the sliding door on passenger side , the pump is on the opposite  side of the taps so there about 6 feet of hose going into the pump from the tank the heater is near the back doors on the drivers side again about 4/5 feet of f hose , just wondering if there's to much hose so am losing pressure

The length of the hose should have no effect on the pressure from the pump.Is the water heater switching on. Is this a new installation? Has it worked before? when the heater is off does the water still out of the pole hose? The water should always flow even if the heater is not working.

its a new one yes , it will switch on then after about 2 min it will switch off , but i have found that if i put the pump at 80 it stays on but then battery will die and yes if heater goes off water still pumps through

Turn the flow on the boiler the right hand numpty clockwise as far as it will go.  This should make the boiler fire even at relatively low water flow, if the water flow is too slow for you turn the dial back a little but if you turn it back too far the boiler will keep turning off again.

the heater i have has a oxygen sensor so if there isnt enough ventilation then it automatically cuts out, when i didnt have a flue and just left the door open it would cut out after a few minutes,  now its properly flued it operates perfectly

Beat me to it, I was just going to say is the door open on the van other wise the boiler will cut out due to lack of fresh air.

Perhaps the answer is the battery. It shouldn't die. It doesn't sound as though it will handle the extra current draw. What battery is it?

What is your flow liters per minute. Is it to slow. You need at least 5 liters to pass through the water heater if its a  L 5 if not you need to adjust the screw underneath that fires up the boiler. This screw is located were the cold pipe goes into the heater.
