Hi
Don't particularly favour one over another. Just warning, go for finance lease not contract hire.  When you contract hire you have for pay for damage over and above normal wear, it can be thousands at the end.

I am considering nor flex by north gate vehicle hire, you pay a bit more but can hand back whenever , you can hire a connect one week.got big job on swap it for a week to a jumbo transit. Going on hols give it back for a fortnight. Seems a good set up.

Cheers
John

How do you go on with fixing a tank into a leased van? Surely drilling the floor will incur heavy penalties when the lease ends?

What advantages are there over buying on a  year HP deal, where you will own the van at the end and can continue to use it without charge or sell it, 3 year vans with low mileage (lets face it most window cleaners do bugger all mileage) for a healthy sum?

With HP the van is an asset, and you can claim depreciation and tax relief on the interest part of the payments.
With a lease the van is a liability, and you can claim tax relief on the whole payment.

Speak to an accountant - what's good for one is not necessarily good for another.
