looking for some ideas really?

constantly getting airlocks with our layflat tanks , is there an easy fix /solution to clearing these?
i saw on a grippa tank install someone had managed to install something to clear them quickly and without mess?

any help appreciated.

i plan on refitting an upright in new vans as the airlocks are a daily nightmare unless an easy fix is out there?

basicly they are like a one way street, water can flow through one way, but wont run back.

these are the ones i have used, as all my tubing is house grade 22mm down to 15mm to pumps

Turn the tank isolating valve off at the exit point from the tank, assuming you have one, after you've finished cleaning, drive to next location, turn it back on.

What I would do besides the none return valve is fit the tank onto a wood base with a 1 to 2  inch lift towards the exit hole so all you water runs towards the exit hole when to tanks gets low.

i fitted a hose inside the tank, so that it get down to the last half inch of water.
now the only time i get air locks is when i have drained the flter bowl out.
