« on: April 15, 2013, 09:49:56 pm »
Hi guys, Having an issue with my newish pressure washer. when starting with pull cord I have to put the revs down to low setting and depress lance trigger to start machine, then adjust revs to the right pressure. It stops and starts again with trigger ok and RTT hose is pumping water back ok. Am thinking something to do with unloader valve setting. its a gx390 21lL/min any advice please

You will need to either open the trigger or if you have a valve to open on the hp side. You may wish to get an easy start which will do it automatically

http://www.cmcpwe.com/accessorystartvalve.html

It drops out and allows the water to RTT or floor so starting is off load then when the flow starts the pressure overcomes the spring and seats the valve. About £16 form Exchange but the link explains how to fit them.
