Daft question
« on: April 12, 2013, 07:17:00 pm »
I have two wires to connect to a leisure battery. Can I buy clips to screw the wires into to clip to the battery points?

You most certainly can, they're called crocodile clips.  ;)

Like these here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Holt-Marine-Q869-50-amp-Crocodile-Clips-12v-Marine-Battery-Cllips-for-Yacht-Boat-/151005300832?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_BoatEquipment_Accessories_SM&hash=item23289e0860
Sorry, thick. I just assumed that the wires would come with clips from Pure Freedom. Dead pleased with their pumpboard price. £199 inc VAT.

Ask for battery terminals. They make a better connection than croc clips...they tend to over heat.

They will only overheat if you are overloading the pump.
