I usually dilute to about 20:1,- I spray one panel then leave for two mins, I spray 2nd panel just before I start scrubbing first and work my way round like this, if a really hot day I prerinse first then virasol

How long you thinking of leaving it  ;D

I think it works best after 5 minutes while its still wet cutting the scrub time in half .. There's no point waiting an hour because it will dry and it might take a bit more scrubbing again..

i never had Virosol stain if dried out unlike TFR  but i now use g101 as i find it has more cleaning power
i use at around 20% strength.

we haven't had any decent weather yet so not used it in the sun but once i have covered an area i start cleaning - no need to wait  - if hot and in direct sunlight i dampen the area first then spray on the gunk

TRF can be an none caustic or caustic. The  caustic  one is the one that  stains if its allowed to dry. Virosol  is non caustic and should not stain.

Just copied the following from website:-

G101 is professional strength multi-purpose cleaner that is unbeatable for intensive cleaning of neglected wheel arches, engine bays and undercarriage areas. However, the high strength of the solution must not be taken lightly, and care should always be taken to select the correct dilution strength for the task in hand, and to avoid letting it dry out fully before it is rinsed off, otherwise permanent stains may appear on treated surfaces.

I'm sure virasol says on the container what to dilute it to.
Its citrus based so it shouldn't stain
