Looks brilliant, I think its a fantastic price for what it is, peanuts really if you think about it. Its something that because of that coating will last most likely last for decades to come, perhaps the rest of your window cleaning career. Better to have something over engineered then the opposite.

Well done for doing it yourself. Looks very professional.

How will it be secured to the vehicle?  Not wanting to sound picky, but the best cage in the world is useless unless it's securely attached to the vehicle chassis.

The tank came from Neil, at http://www.plasticwatertanks.co.uk/

The tank cost be £835.00

The reel was £149.00.

The frame wont be installed into the chassis, as this will comprise the van, so It will be secured in six points to the floor pan.

I have 6 m16 bolts that will go though a 20*152mm plate and that sits on top of the 50mm box section, with another 50mm box section sitting inside similar to a t shape.

The bolt will go through the floor, and then another 10mm plate will act as a spreader plate.

The design is similar to the grippa, but also different in a few ways.

In all  honesty I wanted a Grippa frame and tank, because they are so well made and enginered however the 850l wasnt ready in time, and now I have it, im glad I went for a 1000l tank..

Thanks Timber, it needs to last

Look forward to seeing the finished result.

Saw your van the other day around the corner from Sainsbury's, its absolutely huge with the roof rack on! Looks good though! I would have to drop quite a few residential jobs if I had that van, wouldn't be able to park it in their drives! But it's a must for your work as you could see from my van, I can only have the window cleaning stuff in there along with the Grippamax 650.

Let me know when its finished, it will be nice to see it in person.
