Seems to range from less than 50p a panel up to £5.00 or more.

To work out the going rate for residential you need the magic formula ......

How much will a customer save if they have 10 solar panels cleaned, given that a clean solar panel can produce upto 30% more energy and in some cases much more

Good luck in working that out  ;)

the way i look at it if you have solar panels and you save £ !  so much having them fitted everytime you get them cleaned it takes your profit out of the yearly income , they save you some money but when we come along and ask
£25 to clean them that is a awful big chunk out of there savings .

;D ;D. I think the Admin should promote and make the search button more prominent. Are they listening?!  :)

To answer the question, prices vary wildly it seems depending upon who you speak to. I priced up 4 jobs today and got all 4 jobs too. Prices varied from 85p per panel up to £1.66 per panel.

you forgot to say depends also if they have had them installed for free or had to pay for it..if free apparently you can charge more then if they have paid for the installation of the panels  :-X.

i dont see this sector of work being very profitable, sorry to be gloom and doom, unless you go all out for it,
a lot of houses you will need a 45ft pole? give or take,so to me the investment is not worth it unless your like solar steve then fine but to do a few houses a year..mmm. :-\

this level on one off cleans looks pathetic to me too!  it's not like you can line up a decent run of jobs on the same street.  i mean, it may be OK if its a wind farm you're quoting...

there must be a minimum price attached to these of say £35?

no wonder you re getting every job you quote for.

Not been asked to do a wind farm yet, could be fun though! ;)
The jobs are for the same client. Each job has different access issues etc, hence the price difference.
You'll also find that £35 divided by 21 panels = £1.66!  ;D

I price each job individually as rarely is any installation alike. I priced a driveway cleaning and sealaing job yesterday for £1950. I said if he accepted the quote I would clean his solar panels for free. In his mind, that could be a tenner or eighty quid.  Other jobs for current window cleaning clients I may charge only £20, but if I'm there already and the job will only take 15 mins, that's a nice earner.

What I'm trying to say is each job is different. Price them individually.
