Bad pole day today
« on: April 08, 2013, 08:42:05 pm »
Had a bad pole day  today . First up section 3 on my elite 25 snapped .it was only half extended. So I threw it in the van to sort out later . So got my spare clx 27 out so I didn't lose any time.this pole is 3 years old but got relegated to spare about 2 years ago .anyway half hour later a clamp lever snapped on it . Can't believe it, had to Pack in at 12.sawed the snapped bit off the elite it's now a 23 until I get another section . But I think I will just relegate it to spare and buy a new pole prob the Phoenix 26 ul.so I'm gonna sell the clx if anyone fancies it. Needs a new clamp.and there's a bit of tape on top 2 inches of top 3 sections for grip..could prob do with an hour or 2 spending on it.to get it working nice.£50 and I will pay postage . Cheers barry

Dazmond you forget I'm Yorkshire  born n bred . Tight gits . I even tried taking the middle section out of the clx to replace the broken section from the elite.. ;D ;D. Gigot the elite clamp on one end . But the other end was just too wide to slide in the lower section. So I've been working with a 23 and a half elite all day .lost about 18 inch .but I know I need something a little bit longer to do some 3 stories with dormers . But I will wait as long as I can to buy one  ;D ;Dcheers barry
