Today I had a small gutter and window clean job to do this morning. I parked in the road alongside the house and led the microbore out from the van. Across the pavement. Put my two signs out that declare 'WINDOW CLEANING IN PROGRESS'.Started to crack on with the job.All of a sudden I looked round after hearing a crash-bang-wallop behind me.A girl, aged about 12 had fallen off her bike after riding into my window cleaning signs. She apologised, put the sign back upright, I asked her if she was okay and we all carried on as if nothing had happened.

So do many bother with signs? I have kinda gone with if they cant see the hose they shouldnt be outside.
Its not what your insurance company would want to hear if a claim was made against you. If you have cones etc out your covered, if you dont your not. Essentially.
what a load of rubbish
