At the moment , probably the Enforcer for its design details , easy load , Electro motors and heater options .
I like the Alltec evolution for the clever way it has two 6.6 and two heaters on two cords ,
and Alltec always have high quality fittings and design features  .

Nothing against Airflex ,fine machines , but i'd pick a machine with an immersion first

 Would like to see a quadvac portable capable of switching between two and four vacs .
There are plenty of others I'd be quite happy to use also though .

Sorry to hijack the thread a bit. John any ideas as to what i should use as a filter for the scorpion waste tanks i bought. To stop debris etc getting to the vacs i was thinking maybe a a pice of foam just like craftex use on the grace machines. Any ideas?

Perhaps see how much of a problem flying debris is first , you would have to test it i suppose ..  is the inside of the incoming waste port angled towards the side away from the vac to machine port ? it might be possible to add a deflector if it isn't .
I'd say a fine wire mesh on the port from the waste tank to the vacs would suffice ,
or perhaps diy some kind of inline filter for there that could be easily removed .
If you use foam i'm sure it would have to be supported by wire mesh below ?  you dont want the foam sucked in with your quadvac power    

Or like radek says buy a lint hog  ...

Not much know about the escape yet Radek ... i think they doing a demo at the TACCA open day in a few weeks so perhaps other will get some info then ..

It should be two 7amp vac + a pretty big pump on cord one .
and two 7amp vacs on cord two .
I would imagine the cords used would be 2.5mm and that has a 25amp rating .

Thanks guys in thought about the lint hog but I've read it affects performance quite a bit which is a big worry. I'll probably just try and adapt something to fit the waste stack.

gaz, if you use just a stainless steel mesh filter without the nylon piglets then I do not think so that you are loosing much airflow
it has 2″ inlets with cool cufs

Gary, I've got two words for you---"Lady's tights". When I was using a porty I would cover the twin intakes in the vaccuum chamber with lady's tights, no lowering of airflow and replaced in minutes at the end of job/day/week--your choice. I once told my supplier this and he asked me not to tell others as sales of vacs would suffer. Ive still got the two original vacs in my back up porty which I used for three trouble free years--still going strong when the need arises. Hope this helps. Regards, Mike

I had a lint hog and the piglet filters totally ruin performance! chucked them straight in the bin...
The wire mesh basket in the lint hog will capture debris, you will still need to make sure the top of your stack pipes have some form of finer mesh covering them and is secured well.

You could still use the piglets. Pull through the vac port on the waste tank and fit the neck around the barb and then push on your cuff, which will hold it in place, my wife assures me the piglets are cheaper than descent tights, but if you do go for tights get the half leg ones
