Two things i always recommend:

1. Tell your customers (even put it on your slips/tickets) that any special offers will be posted on your fb page,.. try to get some likes from real customers, not just other cleaners & your friends.

2. Post REGULAR updates, at least twice a week. Make you updates both informative & interesting,.. occasionally even funny. DO NOT try to sell with every post - a sales post maybe 1 in 4, but too much & people will unlike your page pronto. Funny pics etc are good (Ppl "share" funnies & their friends see it too then), but should be relevant to the industry, or perhaps the weather, current situation etc.

I opened 2 business pages, one a page, the other is a group. Good advice from Nat there. Also, post on other local groups like clubs etc to introduce yourself etc and post a link to your biz page. They can pull a lot of work when used well.
