Brass bristle brush

Would this be ok to get chewing gum off carpet?  I tried white spirit but it didn't shift it.

Bloody kids!

Its used more for brushing velvet and also quite handy for getting pet hair off stair carpets.

A fork or a chewing gum perforator if you want a specific tool would be better.

a blunt knife will also help in scoring the working the solvent into the gum.

Citrus gel or solvex will do the trick. Even white spirit but with all three you need to HWE it as you'll knacker the carpet!

How can you be wasting your time when you haven't given a single decent reply.  Just trying to wind me up because I'm new to CCing.  Go and 'help' someone else.

Geoffrey might be a wind up its hard to tell for sure at the moment. Time will tell.

The problem is that we've had so many recently that its hard to trust anyone new.
