This is a CLX 27ft, with sill brush. Was just curious to know if the SLX would still bend, or be totally rigid.

agree as above ( i have both )

putting a sill brush on these poles is like putting an 18 stone jockey on a thoro bred race horse...
you'll just never get the best out of it

so what brush do you recomend then???  i've always used a sill brush on my clx 27. its only 225g

Do you really think that is a serious consideration compared to the weight of the pole?
I would really be surprised if in a "blindfold test" any one could tell which brush they had on the end of a fully extended pole the way james has it!!!!

If you are used to using a medium bristle sill brush go for standard Extreme as it has good bristle splay and good for getting bird muck off  which you may find more to your liking . Mike

i would of agreed with you but i got hold of a 2nd hand superlite dual trim 285g & been using that for 2 days now & i can easily tell the diference between that & my sill brush, its only 60g diff.
otherwise i wouldn't of believed that anything could be lighter than my sill

Looking at your picture to pole is over extended for that window. With the clx 27 it is best not to fully extend it if possible. Good value pole but poor choice for an every day pole IMO. Clx 22 much lighter. If you need longer for an every day pole go full carbon.

no way mate, i've been using a clx 27 every day for 2 yrs now & its still in great nick & a lot of jobs i need it a full length & its very light unless its over a conn at 30 degrees, just got a supermax for some bigger jobs but is the best all rounder

I have the clx27 and 22. There is a huge difference IMO using the 22.

I suppose it is what you get used to. Hope to switch to full carbon later this year.
