i posted 500 leaflets in 2 hours this morning for my girlfriends shop on a massive housing estate(about a thousand houses, half not built yet!)noticed lots of dirty frames, glass and doors so ill canvass like mad this weekend leaving leaflets at houses where no potential customers in.

ill let you know how i go on lads!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

the only frequency im gonna offer on any new work on this estate is 6 weekly! ;D ;D

Me too Daz, but easier for me as I've got a "captive" load of potential custies.  ;D They've only got a choice of me or two other guys, so it's pretty easy to canvass here as long as you don't mind door knocking.

If I get a crap result though, and my business starts to slide downhill, I'll try wheelie bin cleaning or dog walking.  ;D ;D ;D

Happy hunting mate  ;)
No still don't understand, I must be thick

I agree although my work is all 4 weekly with a few 8 weekly.
Do you charge more for 6 weekly?

DG the reason why im going 6 weekly on any potential work on this estate is its a bit out of my way and i dont want to be going there every month for (hopefully) a few days work.2 monthly seems a bit long.6 weekly is a good compromise IMO.

apparently there are already 2 window cleaners on there who dont clean frames or doors and will only offer 2 weekly!!YES!!YOU READ RIGHT!!2 WEEKLY!! ??? ???

im hoping to literally clean up on this estate and offer a better quality service and a good frequency for all.

good luck to you all as well that are canvassing this weekend!! ;) :) :)

no ben!i can clean all my 340 customers easily within 3 weeks most months so a couple of good days extra work would be good! ;)

im looking at adding an extra £500 a month to my earnings for 2 days work roughly.

i simply cant look a gift horse in the mouth as i reckon i will do very well on sat and sun! ;D ;D ;D

we ll see this weekend!

girlfriend is worth it mate!just booked an all inclusive holiday for me and her and her daughter and friend!over 2 grand lighter now!! ;D ;D ;D

Good look Daz, Hope it goes well for you, I've been thinking of targeting a few new estates 6 & 12 weekly with a view to charging a bit more.
Same round here a lot of windows are 2 weekly ;D

How do you get away with£150 first clean and £50 6 weekly and £300 first clean when its only £65 6 weekly??
Fair play to you if your telling the truth.
