i would say a lot beter, very easy to use and adjust, less ware on poles, no pinching when fingers get in the way, clamps dont catch on things,

Totally agree. Ive got the phoenix hybrid 18 for lower work fitted with an aquadapter and flip fast for lower stuff and my Mrs uses it. She used a clx for a year and says the phoenix is better for the clamps. Ive just bought the phoenix 22 fitted with and aquadapter and flip fast 6" and I love it. I can extend quicker and retract. try one you won't be disappointed!

For me i think gardiners offers the complete package at the moment brushes goosenecks ect

I don't like gardiners clamps and im sure the resi neck swivel wears pole pole out faster due to the clamp sliping when trying to swivel the brush head

But the facelift pole does look very good they just need to bring out their own goose neck range  ;)

I voted for a clx but if facelift done their own carbon fibre goose neck range i would have voted for the phoenix

I seem to be the only one at the moment who has both the clx and the  facelift pole if the facelift last as long as my clx the facelift will win hands down the clamps are why better time will tell

How often does that top section get used?

if you are are talking to me about the 26ul, then the top section gets uses at least 2-3 times a day,
and on one day it gets used all day due to 3 block of flats i do total of about 80 flats.

get on great with it. its better than you think, if feels really thin and looks like it would snap, but it dose take a hammering at times!
