what one do i buy both poles are about the same price same weight same closed length.?whatever gets the most votes i will buy. please please dont say get a slx.

this is about these two poles only.

i dont know about the phenix pole

but i have used the clx 22 pole and still do for over 2 years

its been a very good bit of kit

i do however use the slx 25 which is in another league.

but for value for money clx is a best buy.

i would say at that short length both poles will proform the same i would however on this occasion go for the pheonix purly due to the clamps

It will be interesting to see the results of the poll, as a lot more people will have a CLX due to how long they have been around, etc. (especially on this particular forum

)

I doubt anyone will vote for a Phoenix if they haven't got/used/seen one and only have a CLX as a reference point. But so far I surprised how many votes the a Phoenix has got seeing as it is the newest pole on the market and only been around a few months.

ive never tried a phoenix pole so i cant comment but i had a 22 ft clx.they are ok but id never use a hybrid pole again as full carbon fibre poles are easier and lighter to use.

i would stretch to a 22ft SLX if i were you they are fantastic for domestic work.

your pole is a very important tool if your poling day in/day out and the rigidity of a full carbon fibre pole just allows you to scrub better and overall are much better poles.

CLX-22 is the best pole I've ever had for many reasons. Don't know anything about the other one.
